FACILITATING A STRATEGY PROJECT VIA ONLINE COLLABORATION TOOLS
In the midst of COVID-19, we helped this Division Head to plan and facilitate an online strategy process together with his management team and key stakeholders from across the organization.
The process was built on a number of critical co-creation workshops online, with break out sessions and homework for all participants in between the workshops. The process resulted in strategic clarity, an action plan and alignment regarding key focus areas and is now being implemented.
STRATEGY CO-CREATION WORKSHOPS WITH LEADERSHIP TEAM AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We helped this company's CEO and Chair of the Board to design a tailor made strategy process, explore their business environment, and co-create their vision and strategy together with key stakeholders across the organization. We also facilitated important co-creation workshops involving the leadership team and the Board of Directors. A crucial step in the process of this company's transformational journey.
STRATEGY CO-CREATION WITH 75 LEADERS
We helped this Division Head co-create the division strategy together with his leadership team, and ultimately involving all 75 managers of the division in the process. This project started with trend scanning and an in depth situational analysis followed by a future scenario workshop. Then followed a deeper exploration of growth opportunities through customer safaris, and related internal barriers; envisioning the future of the division and the development of a strategic plan to reach their goals, as well as a preparation for the best possible roll-out. Developing actions involved all managers of the division in a two day "mega"-workshop. We helped plan and facilitate the whole process.
EXPLORING THE FUTURE
We helped this corporate executive management team understand the development and future of sustainability within their business eco-system, and how they might choose to relate to that. We explored overall trends outside and inside the eco-system; conducted interviews with customer industry organizations and other relevant stakeholders; mapped competitive moves; identified relevant innovations and new entrants in the area; interviewed customers and end-users; and teamed up with a legal partner to explore the legal and regulatory trends impacting their markets. Finally we outlined a recommended pathway forward.
EXPLORING THE CONSEQUENCES OF STRATEGIC CHOICES
We helped the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development in this company to strategically explore and identify how to adapt the overall company offering and portfolio to stay relevant and attractive to their customers and eco-system in a world with increasing focus on sustainability. We then helped explore and understand the implications of their potential strategic choices on their current business model and operating model. All through a highly customized approach, working one-to-one and co-creating the end result together with the client and the project team.
CO-CREATING A WORLD-CLASS SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
We helped this Director of Sustainability explore the very frontiers and trends of sustainability; what can be considered world-class inside and outside of their industry context; and how to develop a world-class sustainability agenda aiming at creating real system change - and changing the world for the better. All clearly integrated with the company's overall purpose, values and strategy.
CO-CREATING A WORLD-CLASS INNOVATION STRATEGY
We helped the Executive Vice President Innovation in this exponentially growing company identify and understand the very frontiers and trends of world-class innovation, and how to develop a world-class sustainability innovation agenda. Everything aimed at reaching their very ambitious growth targets while staying aligned to the company's purpose, strategy, sustainability agenda, and desired culture. We conducted primary and secondary research; and then facilitated the actual strategy co-creation with the client team.
AGILE TRANSFORMATION FOR HUMAN GROWTH
We helped this Chief Transformation & People Officer to explore and develop principles and guidelines to enable the transformation of the whole organization into an agile operating model, building a platform for human growth. We started out with an exploration of the frontiers of modern, agile organizations and self managing teams, and then gathered real life examples and references from frontrunners from around the world as input to the next step on the agile transformation journey.
CO-CREATING SUSTAINABLE SERVICES AND BUSINESS MODELS
We helped this Marketing Director and her team explore and co-create new services and business models as a complement to their already very successful and sustainable product portfolio. We initially researched different industries to uncover patterns and interesting moves in new services and related business models. We then used the research as input to a series of customized and co-creative innovation sprints and helped the client identify approximately 300 ideas. Through a series of iterations, we ultimately helped the innovation team co-develop a handful of highly relevant and attractive solutions and concepts, through rapid prototyping, customer testing as well as early business model and business case development and experimentation.
